Cash Access Account.
Your spending account! From where you would normally draw your cash and shopping money, usually through the access we provide for you through more than 70,000 Eftpos and ATM terminals throughout New Zealand. With our special Wine Country CU Diamond Card (our cash card) your money is always available 24 hours a day. Have your salary, wage or benefit paid directly into this account for easy access to your money.
Cash Saver Account.
A savings account where you put money away, but where it is still readily available in an emergency and can be transferred into your Cash Access Account ready to use – perhaps when you are planning a holiday or doing some serious shopping. Simply phone 873 1144 to transfer your money.
Christmas Club.
What a popular account this is - annually our members(you) save in the vicinity of a million dollars in this account. No withdrawals (unless you are closing your account), are permitted during the year. In early December your savings are automatically credited to your Cash Access Account ready for the demands of Christmas. Savings attract a competitive interest rate. No wonder this account is such a winner!
Bill Payment Account.
A simple bill paying account. You deposit into it on a regular basis and we set up automatic payments to pay your bills, for example; rates, mortgage, insurances, power etc. Interest is paid on money in this account. No more overdue accounts and demanding phone calls!
Target Saver Account
Set a target and make your 'wish' come true. No withdrawals until you reach your target - a great account for those planning ahead for their holiday, new car or whatever. (By popular request there is no access to money until the target is reached). Good for those of us prone to moments of weakness!! A good rate of interest is paid on these savings to help you achieve your target faster.
School Savings Account - Junior Saver.
Learning to save is an important skill for today's children. The first step to managing money is developing a savings habit. Because of this we provide school savings and access services. Get your children off to a sound start today!
At present children are learning to save with our weekly school savings scheme at these schools: Camberley, Ebbett Park, Eskdale, Flaxmere, Frimley, Haumoana, Mahora, Mayfair, Parkside, Porritt, Raureka, Reignier, Richmond, St Joseph's, St Mary's, St Patrick's, Taradale, Twyford and Westshore.
All schools are welcome to participate and help us to secure the financial future for the next generations.
e-Statements
You can now receive your account statements by email. Simply decide how often you require information (for some accounts it may be weekly, others monthly). To set this up, either call into one of our branches or download the e-statement application form here and fax, post or bring it in to your nearest branch. Credit Union staff will be delighted to set up a free automatic email of your transactions and balances for you.
